The Best Social Awards worden in 2020 voor de zevende keer uitgereikt. Het event waar de virale vlag wordt uitgehangen en we de social crème de la crème belonen voor hun beste, creatiefste en meest innoverende werk op social media (bekijk hier een impressie om een idee te krijgen).
Ook zal in Juni 2020 de derde editie van Tropikali Festival plaatsvinden, een open minded festival op de NDSM-werf in Amsterdam.
Daarom zoeken wij vanaf januari/februari een stagiair(e) die veel passie heeft voor het productionele gedeelte van het opzetten van events.
Als je bij ons aan de slag gaat, ziet je werkweek er zeer divers uit. Je helpt met productionele taken, Je werkt mee aan creatieve samenwerkingen met merken, je zorgt dat elke influencer uit Nederland naar de awards komt, kortom je zorgt dat alles op rolletjes loopt. Dus weet jij wat een tof event nodig heeft en steek je graag je productionele handen uit de mouwen? Beschik jij over een sterk staaltje overtuigingskracht en heb jij net zoveel enthousiasme en energie als wij voor ons platform en events? Dan lijkt het ons de hoogste tijd om te solliciteren!
Wat leer je?
Je gaat hier veel leren over het beste wat social media in Nederland te bieden heeft. Tijdens je stage bij ons krijg je een kijkje in The Best Social en Tropikali keuken. Maar niet alleen een kijkje – je mag veel zelf doen en je eigen input wordt gewaardeerd. En voor de rol en verantwoordelijkheid die je krijgt, verdien jij eigenlijk ook een award aan het einde van de rit.
Wat verwachten we van jou?
- Je pakt je verantwoordelijkheid en bent niet bang
- Je kunt plannen en bent stressbestendig
- Je ziet productionele kansen en oplossingen waar nodig
- Je hebt oog voor detail: elk event moet perfect verlopen en er tot in de puntjes verzorgd uitzien
- Kennis van programma’s als Photoshop en Premiere is een pre.
- Een rijbewijs is een pre.

The Best Social Awards will take place for the 7th time in 2020. During this event we honor the social crème de la crème for their best, most creative and most innovative work on social media. Check out this video for an impression.
Aside from this, in june 2020 the third edition of the open-minded festival Tropikali Festival will take place on the NDSM-wharf in Amsterdam.
That’s why we’re looking for an intern from January / February on. Someone who’s passionate about event production and organization.
Your week as our production intern will definitely be diverse. You’ll help with productional tasks, you’ll assist in setting up creative collaborations with our brand partners, you’ll make sure every influencer in The Netherlands is invited to The Best Social Awards. You’ll make the organization run smoothly.

What will you learn?
You’ll learn about the best that social media has to offer in The Netherlands. We consider ourselves the searchlight in digital chaos. Our platform grows faster than Kylie Jenner’s rise and shine meme on TikTok. During your internship you’ll get a taste of The Best Social & Tropikali.. But not just a taste – you’ll be able to work individually and your input is much appreciated. For this function and the responsibility that goes with it, you’ll definitely deserve an award at the end of your internship.
What do we expect from you?

> You have an eye for detail: each event has to run smoothly and look perfect
> Knowledge of programme’s like Photoshop and Premiere Pro are a plus
> Possession of a driver’s license is a plus
