Your summer vacation might not seem like the time for learning and new job experiences. Since people mostly use this period for chilling and chilling only. But what if you can learn to do what you love? Or what you have always wanted to learn? And what if we say you can do all this at a company in Amsterdam? Come join our The Best Social Summer School and learn to be the best at what you love: making killer content for viral pages and relevant platforms.

The Best Social Studio
Our creative studio works for brands like Netflix, Vue Cinemas, Kwekkeboom & various movies. We also produce content for our own projects. Our strength lies in creating editorial content for brands. We know what’s going on in The Netherlands and come up with relevant strategies, campaigns and content for brands and their target groups.
The Best Social Studio is part of The Best Social. Together with The Best Social Media, The Best Social Awards, and our vacancy platform The Best Social Jobs, we consider ourselves the searchlight in digital chaos. Weekly, we reach over 1.5 million people through our social channels!
You will learn and create content at Studio. However, sometimes there is also a possibility of collaboration between our platforms and projects, so you will occasionally work with the other departments too. The focus of each division will preferably be on content creation, making video’s and design.
Details
- duration: 8 weeks between June and August
- days per week: at least 4
- reimbursement: € 400 per month, based on a 40-hour work week
- you are a student at a Dutch college or university
- you have your own laptop on which Adobe software can run
- experience with Photoshop and Premiere is very useful
- you have a little experience with filming with a camera
- you get intensive guidance from our driven (and sometimes quite nice) colleagues
- if you have booked a vacation, we can plan the eight weeks around it accordingly

Toch, zomervakanties zijn over het algemeen om te chillen, niet om te leren, maar wat als je nou leert doen wat je echt leuk vindt, of altijd al zou willen leren? En dan ook nog eens bij een bedrijf aan de Amsterdamse grachten, terwijl je meevaart op de (internationale) social kanalen van The Best Social.

Onze creatieve studio werkt voor merken als Netflix, Vue Cinemas, Kwekkeboom & diverse bioscoopfilms. Daarnaast produceren we ook content voor onze eigen projecten. Onze kracht ligt in het bedenken van redactionele content voor merken. Wij weten wat er leeft in Nederland en bedenken relevante strategieën, campagnes en content voor merken én hun doelgroep.
The Best Social Studio is onderdeel van The Best Social. Samen met The Best Social Media, The Best Social Awards en ons vacatureplatform The Best Social Jobs, zijn wij het zoeklicht in de digitale chaos. We bereiken wekelijks meer dan anderhalf miljoen mensen via onze social kanalen.
Je gaat leren en creëren bij de Studio. Echter, er is soms ook sprake van kruisbestuiving tussen onze platformen en projecten, dus je gaat je ook af en toe met de anderen bemoeien. De focus zal bij elke divisie liggen op copywriting en content creatie.
Praktische feitjes
- duur: 8 weken tussen juni en augustus
- dagen per week: minstens 4
- vergoeding: 400 euro per maand, gebaseerd op een werkweek van 40 uur
- je bent een student aan een Nederlandse hogeschool of universiteit
- je hebt een eigen laptop waar Adobe software op kan draaien
- Photoshop, Premiere en Adobe After Effects ervaring is erg handig
- je hebt wel eens gefilmd met een camera
- je krijgt intensieve begeleiding van onze gedreven (en soms best leuke) collega’s
- als je een vakantie hebt geboekt, kunnen we de acht weken er omheen plannen in overeenstemming
